Ronald R. Pirrera
PIRRERA, Ronald R. "Ron" Of Randolph formerly Rochester, NY passed away May 18, 2011 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of 40 years to Anne L. "Nancy" (Devlin) Pirrera. Loving father of Edward J. "Ted" Pirrera and his wife Sarah S. of Canton and the late Thomas Ronald Pirrera. Son of the late A. Edward and Rosemary (Musseri) Pirrera. Devoted brother of Joyce Skulicz and her husband Matthew of FL, as well as the late Edward F. Pirrera. Dear "Papa" to Rachel and Christopher Pirrera. Mr. Pirrera was born in Rochester, NY where he grew up and was educated. He was a graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY and received his Masters Degree in English from Boston College in 1971. He was an English Teacher at Randolph High School for 30 years, and was the Chair of the English Department at the time of his retirement in 2002. After his retirement he became a member of the Harvard Institute of Learning in Retirement where he took and led courses. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28), RANDOLPH MA until 9:00 AM Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
